The Heart of the Forest

The Heart of the Forest is a 2.5D adventure platformer for PC.
You play as a red capped mushroom, asked by the Forest God to help fight against a Corrupted God, find, and return the Heart of the Forest before the corruption takes over.

ABOUT ME
───────────────────────────────────────────Hi, I'm Jazmin! I am an avid gamer and am upcoming game developer, currently studying programming at the Academy of Interactive Entertainment.Although I am studying programming, I do also have a keen interest in becoming an artist and designer in the foreseeable future!
My first introduction to game development was in high school where I was taught to use Game Maker and Blender, I followed many tutorials to make my own games - much preferring scripts over drag-n-drops. I learned the basics in PHP, HTML, CSS and visual Basic to create a variety of programs and web games as well as production methodologies.
I spent a few years after my school years to try some other career paths, but ultimately came back and began my studies with AIE as a video game programmer. I am proud of my work and will always strive to put in the effort to do well, I acknowledge both my strengths and weaknesses and hope to continuously improve myself to become someone my younger self would look up to.
I am currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Professional Game development. In 2021, I completed my first year of studies at AIE with a Diploma of Information Technology and a Diploma of Screen and Media.
